The University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers have recently welcomed Leland Estacio, a Filipino-foreigner, as their newest recruit for the men’s basketball team.
The news of Estacio’s commitment to the team was made public by his handler, Tumakbo Basketball North California, on Sunday.
The Elk Grove, California-based Estacio is a 6-foot-2 guard who has already played two collegiate seasons with the West Valley Vikings.
During the 2021–22 season, Estacio had an average of 3.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game. (AC)
