Hardwork pays off as Standhardinger nabs PBA-Player of the Week award

Straight from the Asian Games, Christian Standhardinger immediately made his impact in the local scene having his best scoring game in the PBA.
In their game against NLEX last Sunday, the 6-foot-8 forward was a vital cog for San Miguel as he topscored with career-high 36 points on impressive 14-of-17 shooting stride.
More importantly, the Fil-German also hustled for the ball collecting 11 rebounds to help Beermen get their first win, 125-112, against Road Warriors.
Players he beat for the weekly citation was fellow Gilas Japeth Aguilar, Magnolia’s Mark Barroca, Jio Jalalon and Rome Dela Rosa, NLEX’s Kevin Ighalo and TNT’s Jayson Castro.
