Houston Rockets Stuns Streaking Dallas Mavs


Houston Rockets pulled a stunner after halting the five-game winning streak of the Dallas Mavericks with a 102-93 beating in the 2020-2021 NBA Season on Wednesday night at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

John Wall made his return from injury with 31 points, while Christian Wood added double-double 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Rockets improved to 14-37.

Kevin Porter contributed 14 markers, while Kelly Olynyk hauled 18 rebounds to go along with 10 points for the Rockets.

Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic finished with 23 points each, while Tim Hardaway Jr added 18 markers as the Mavericks dropped to 28-22.

Memphis Grizzlies (26-23) cruised to its fourth consecutive victory with a 131-113 rout of Atlanta Hawks (27-25). Greyson Allen finished with season-high 30 points for the Grizzlies.

In other results, Indiana Pacers (23-27) edged Minnesota Timberwolves (13-39), 141-137; Washington Wizards (19-32) won over Orlando Magic (17-35), 131-116; and Charlotte Hornets (26-24) prevailed over Oklahoma City Thunder (20-31), 113-102.
