Huge blow for TNT as Jayson Castro sidelined for 3 to 4 weeks due to injury
TNT KaTropa will miss the services of star point guard Jayson Castro for three to four weeks due to a soleus muscle strain.
Castro got hurt in the 6:18 mark of the first quarter of the KaTropa’s 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup game against NLEX Road Warriors Friday evening after driving to the rim.
He never returned since and he left the venue before the 4th quarter started to have his injury checked.
The 11-year league veteran’s absence proved costly as the KaTropa bowed to the Road Warriors, 113-126.
And the weeks that he will be out will be a tough challenge for TNT given the fact that its last three games will be against the Barangay Ginebra, Magnolia Hotshots, and San Miguel Beermen.
