The Slovenian star, who was won the 2019 Rookie of the Year, has tallied 29.0 points, 9.4 rebounds at 8.8 assists in just his second season while also leading the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs this year.
However, Doncic was expected to follow up his improvement on his sophomore year, while Graham suddenly had a breakout year.
Graham has a legitimate case for the Most Improved Player plum, from his game averages of 4.7 points, 2.6 assists at 1.4 rebounds to 18.2 points, 7.5 assists at 3.4 rebounds per game.
The current frontrunners for the Most Improved award are New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram and Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo.
