The Capital1 Solar Energy Solar Spikers have formally locked in their new recruits less than a month before the PVL Reinforced Conference on July 16.
Signed to contracts by the Solar Spikers on Thursday afternoon are Filipina-American setter Iris Tolenada, Shola Alvarez, Norielle Ipac, and Ayumi Furukawa.
Tolenada returned to PVL following her stint as an Asian Quota Player for the GS Caltex Seoul Kixx in the Korean Volleyball League.
Alvarez and Ipac previously suited up for the Galeries Tower Highrisers, while Furukawa played for the Strong Group Athletics last conference.
The Solar Spikers also inked their Russian reinforcement, Marina Tushova.
The Solar Spikers will further be bolstered by their No. 2 overall selection in the upcoming PVL Rookie Draft on July 8.
The Roger Gorayeb-led squad will attempt to improve their 1-10 finish in the 2024 PVL 1st All-Filipino Conference.
