NBA veteran James Harden believes that it is too late to repair his relationship with the Philadelphia 76ers.
“Is it too late to repair James Harden’s relationship with the Philadelphia 76ers?” KHOU 11’s Jason Bristol asked Harden during an event in Houston.
“I think so,” Harden answered.
“I’ve been patient all summer,” he added. “For me, it’s just focus on what I can control and getting ready for this season.”
Harden shocked basketball fans earlier this week when he said that 76ers president Daryl Morey is a liar. He vowed that he would never play in an organization that Morey is a part of.
The one-time NBA MVP picked up his player option with the 76ers last June in hopes that both sides would work together for a trade that would send him out of Philadelphia.
However, the 76ers announced recently that they would close trade talks surrounding Harden. (MJD)
