James Harden excited for Chris Paul’s return to Rockets

Chris Paul is set to return on Monday (Manila time) against Orlando Magic, after a hamstring injury last month.

Reigning MVP James Harden told the reporters that nine-time All-Star Paul’s leadership and play-making abilities can be a major asset for the team. Being able to create defensive steals can also add to the Houston Rockets’ defense.

“I’m just happy to see him back on the court. He spent so long working out and trying to get his body healthy and right as well,” he added.

The star player’s spectacular scoring run of having at least 30 points in 22 consecutive games might decrease after Paul’s comeback. Yet, Harden doesn’t mind if his incredible performance streak comes to an end as long as the team is winning.

“When guys are healthy, roles are gonna dim down a little bit, but that’s fine. As long as we’re playing well as a team and we’re clicking, we’re good.” (Janiel Abby Toralba)
