FORMER NBA star Jason Kidd got a taste of a Filipino favorite during his recent visit to boxing legend Manny Pacquiao’s home.
Kidd was seen enjoying Jollibee with Pacquiao in photos and a video shared on social media, giving the NBA champion a chance to try the country’s popular fast-food chain while spending time with the Filipino boxing icon.

The visit was part of Kidd’s two-day Philippine trip last month, which included an appearance at an NBA House event in Manila.
Before leaving the country, Kidd visited Pacquiao at his residence and thanked the eight-division world champion for his hospitality.
“Big thank you to Manny Pacquiao for his hospitality during this trip to the Philippines! It’s always great to talk to one of the greats in any sport and Manny is an icon!” Kidd wrote in a social media post.
Photos from their gathering showed Kidd and Pacquiao sharing a meal, while Kidd was also presented with a customized shirt bearing the name “Kidd” and the number 32.
The meeting brought together two prominent figures from basketball and boxing.
Kidd spent 19 seasons in the NBA, winning the 2011 championship with the Dallas Mavericks before pursuing a coaching career.
Pacquiao, meanwhile, is widely regarded as one of the Philippines’ most accomplished athletes, having captured world championships across a record eight weight divisions. (Adrian Co)
