JC Intal gets inspiration from meeting ‘The Unicorn’
JC Intal just revealed how he admired the New York Knicks’ superstar Kristaps Porzingis.
The Phoenix Fuel Masters star narrates how hardworking “The Unicorn” was when he met him three years ago:
“His story is a reminder not just to pro athletes but to all of you. If you want something badly, work hard for it and go get it! Never ever take things for granted,” the PBA stalwart says on his Instagram post.
KP6’s NBA journey is really special — and inspirational. He got booed when New York picked him 4th overall in the 2015 NBA, but managed to prove his doubters wrong in the end. He has now been the face of Knicks basketball, after continuing his break out performance in the current season.
Remember this? @kporzee (July 2014, Impact Las Vegas) . . . I witnessed how this guy worked his butt off. This photo was taken almost 3 years ago. Porzingis was in the gym 24/7, trained with his older brother 3 times a day, kicked ass as he played with all the NBA free agents and upcoming rookies during scrimmage, and got booed when he got drafted by the @nyknicks. Look where he is at right now. Proof that hardwork really pays off. His story is a reminder not just to pro athletes but to all of you. If you want something badly, work hard for it and go get it! Never ever take things for granted. #notetoself
