Ginebra coach Tim Cone revealed on Monday that wingman Jeremiah Gray suffered a dislocated knee.
Gray injured his knee while attempting a fast break lay-up during the third quarter of Ginebra’s last preseason game against NLEX on Sunday.
“Jeremiah had a dislocated knee. The doctors were able to put the knee back in place and straighten it,” Cone said in a report from Spin.ph.
“They are now in the process of evaluating the ligaments surrounding the knee,” the grand slam coach said. “No decisions have been made yet about surgery.”
The sweet-shooting wingman suffered an ACL injury in 2021 while playing in PBA 3×3. Because of this injury, he was able to join Ginebra in last season’s second conference, the Commissioner’s Cup.
Gray averaged 14.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in the PBA On Tour. (MJD)
