Joel Embiid goes out of Wizards game after apparent knee injury

Another injury scare for Joel Embiid.

The Philadelphia 76ers star center was seen holding onto knee after falling awkwardly following a dunk.

With about six minutes removed from the third period of Sixers’ matchup against Washington Wizards, Embiid went for a dunk against Wizards forward Garrison Matthews.

However, the Cameroonian baller fell awkwardly with his knee buckled, and he was seen limping back to the locker room as soon as he got up.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Embiid has a hyperextended left knee and will get the MRI.

Embiid finished the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
