John Wall: Ayaw ko na sa Houston
Veteran guard John Wall is likely headed to a new team before the start of the new season after informing the Houston Rockets that he wants out of the team.
In a report by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Wall and the Rockets have recently met and has mutually agreed to work together on finding a new home for the five-time All-Star guard.
“Plan is for Wall to be present at (Houston’s) training camp, but not play in Rockets games this season,” Charania said.
Charania added that there are no buyout plans on the two years and $91.7 million remaining on Wall’s contract — including a $47.4 million player option for the 2022-23 season.
Wall arrived at the Rockets from Washington Wizards before the start of the 2020-2021 NBA season in a trade for Russell Westbrook.
