Sports analyst Quinito Henson has admitted that the tweet he shared, praising Kai Sotto and attributed to Kevin Durant, is fake.
In the edited tweet, Durant purportedly regarded Sotto as the most underrated player he had ever witnessed.

Henson later confessed that, although he initially had doubts about the tweet’s authenticity, he still shared it as a joke.
“OK guys. Its confirmed KD never tweeted about Kai, we doubted it from the start & passed it off as a joke,” said Henson.
He urged netizens, who criticized him for sharing the fake tweet, to shift their focus onto Sotto rather than Durant.
“(Let’s) redirect our attention on Kai — (he’s) the story not KD!” the sports journalist said.

In his debut with the Orlando Magic, Sotto made a significant contribution, scoring six points, grabbing four rebounds, and registering three blocks in just 13 minutes of playing time.
Sotto will have another opportunity to showcase his abilities in the NBA Summer League as the Orlando Magic is scheduled to face the Boston Celtics on July 16th, Sunday, at 6:30 a.m. (Manila time). (Mark Patriarca)
