Jonathan Grey out for the season due to a freak injury
A freak accident has cost Jonathan Grey a year in his young PBA career.
The former Saint Benilde standout suffered a torn patellar tendon on his right knee during one of Northport’s practices. The 6-foot-3 guard went for a dunk but ended up landing badly, causing the tear.
Grey has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
He has played six games this conference, averaging 9.5 points, 2.33 assists, and 1.83 rebounds per game.
Also on the sidelines is Nico Elorde who will miss one month. He suffered a slight tear at his left hamstring, specifically part of the semitendinosus.
