Jordan Clarkson joins protest for George Floyd murder
Fil-Am baller Jordan Clarkson joins the list of NBA players who went out to the streets and protested the murder of George Floyd at the hand of the Minnesota police officer.
On Clarkson’s Instagram post, he joined numerous protesters in calling out for justice in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Also present in the rally was NBA free agent and former Cavaliers teammate JR Smith.
NBA stars like Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl Anthony-Towns and Boston Celtics wingman Jaylen Brown were also spotted in their respective cities rallying for their fallen African-American fellow men.
The footage sparked an outrage across and outside USA after police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on Floyd’s neck for a long period of time which ultimately caused his death
