Jordan Clarkson has exercised his player option for next season to remain with the Utah Jazz.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Filipino-American guard has finalized the renegotiation of his contract with the team.
In addition to picking up his player option, Clarkson has also agreed to extend his contract until the 2025–26 season, worth $55 million.
After spending most of his nine-year career as a scoring threat off the bench, Clarkson was made a starter by the Jazz in the 2022–2023 season.
In 61 games, he averaged 20.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists.
Utah also acquired John Collins from the Atlanta Hawks in a trade. (Mark Patriarca)
