Jun Arthur Roque caught fire offensively as Pampanga Delta scored a 98-77 rout of the NBS Slashers in the Sinag Liga Asya Born 2001 Cup on Friday at the One Arena in Cainta.
The homegrown Delta players waxed hot with 21 points to go with three rebounds as the powerhouse Pampanga team scored its second win in as many games.
Kevin Santos and Sonny Estil chipped in 13 each, Charles Jacob Delfino and incoming DLSU rookie Jonnel Policarpio had 11 apiece, and Carlo Ferreras wound up with 10 points for Delta.
JR Ilustrisimo paced the Slashers with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Marvin James Raymundo and Miguel Sahali combined for 27.
Hustle Rising Suns, meanwhile, snapped a two-game losing streak as they scored a 93-84 win over Parañaque, while Datzlav Eoz Construction Laguna toppled Antipolo 78-67.
Arvin Bautista fired 15 points and pulled down five rebounds for the Rising Suns, which also got 13 apiece from Vincent Jacobe Canlas and Ernie Pineda.
Rob Basti Panes barely missed a double-double of 23 points and nine rebounds as Laguna made up for a 78-83 setback to LDG San Pedro last Wednesday.
