Kai Sotto will have another chance to showcase his talent in the NBA Summer League, with the league scheduling a final game for the Orlando Magic this weekend.
In a schedule released on Friday noon, the NBA announced a final game for the Magic, where they will face off against the Boston Celtics. The game is set to take place on Saturday afternoon (3:30 a.m. Sunday morning, Manila time).
Sotto made his NBA Summer League debut on Thursday (Friday, Manila time) and had an impressive performance, recording six points, four rebounds, three blocks, and an assist in just 13 minutes of play.
Despite the 7-foot-3 Filipino center’s solid performance, it was not sufficient to prevent the Magic from suffering an 88-71 defeat against the Portland Trail Blazers, leaving them with a winless 0-4 record.
Meanwhile, the Celtics currently hold a 1-3 record after securing a surprising victory over their arch-rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, last Wednesday.
