Kai Sotto wants more young Pinoy hoopers in Basketball Without Borders

Kai Sotto was grateful to be one of the participants in the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend at Chicago, Illinois.

Not only did the 7-foot-2 tower had the opportunity to showcase his skills in the international level, but he also got the chance to meet Toronto Raptors rising star Pascal Siakam.

:The best part was to compete against the best players from all around the world and to be coached by the coaches from the NBA,” Sotto said in an exclusive interview with NBA Philippines.

“There’s so much talent in this venue and I’m honored to be here.”

Still, Sotto hopes that more Filipinos would be given a chance to participate in Basketball Without Borders camp as well.

I expect more Filipinos to come here. I think we’d be very honored and excited to see more Filipinos to come here,” he shared.
