Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol believes that the removal of the jungle emblem in Mobile Legends will not affect the performance of Blacklist International’s jungler, Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, next season.
During his livestream, Kairi noticed a comment from a viewer stating that the current meta is not in favor of Wise’s playstyle.
The Filipino import from Onic Indonesia was quick to defend Wise, noting that Blacklist International had won back-to-back championships even before the jungle emblem became a prominent part of the meta.
“Before the jungle emblem (became famous), they were also dominating,” said Kairi.
“In Season 7 and Season 8, there was no jungle emblem, guys, but they still won back-to-back (championships),” he added.
Kairi also pointed out that Wise was popularly known for using damage-type heroes in the past before utility junglers who use the jungle emblem became part of the meta.
“They weren’t using tank heroes before. They were using damage-type junglers when they won the MPL two times,” Kairi explained.
It is worth noting that Wise gained popularity by using the damage-type hero Aldous in the pro scene. He is also known for picking the marksman hero Yi Sun Shin (YSS), earning the moniker “Wise-SS”. (Mark Patriarca)
