Kevin Durant makes Nets return with a heartwarming moment from his mom

Kevin Durant dedicated to his on-court return to his mom Wanda, as he suited up for the Brooklyn Nets after missing 22 games due to hamstring injury.

Mama Wanda was actually spotted at Barclays Center cheering for his son KD on his game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The former MVP came off the bench and only logged in 19 minutes of action, but he still finished the game with 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Most importantly, Durant shared a heartwarming moment with Wanda after the Nets took care of business against the Pelicans by celebrating together inside the court.

This also marked the first time that Durant played in front of a 17,000 crowd at their home court.

KD has always been vocal about his love for his mother, especially during his MVP speech in 2014 where he called his mama “The Real MVP”.
