Kevin Durant is not sold on the famous old saying that “defense wins championships.”
The former NBA scoring champion commented on a tweet by a sports fan stating that while offense is the more exciting element of the game, it is defense that is key to achieving titles.
Durant dismissed the opinion of the netizen, claiming that offense is more important in winning championships.

The two-time NBA champion has an opportunity to prove his point with the Phoenix Suns, who are loaded with talented offensive-minded stars.
