Kevin Quiambao’s partner reveals basketball star’s alleged infidelity

THE partner of Gilas Pilipinas forward Kevin Quiambao has publicly addressed an alleged infidelity issue involving the athlete, saying she decided to speak after the matter was brought to social media.

In a now-deleted social media post, she disputed the claim that the woman seen in the situation was “just a fan,” pointing to details that she said raised questions about what happened.

“I cannot accept the claim that this was ‘just a fan.’ That is not what the evidence shows. The couch is in his hotel room, and the shirt is the same shirt he was wearing. Stop pretending these details are meaningless or trying to rewrite what is right in front of everyone,” she wrote.

She also highlighted the impact of the controversy on their family, saying Quiambao has a two-year-old child and that she is currently pregnant with their child.

“You can present whatever version of the story you want, but don’t forget that there are real consequences behind the drama you’re creating,” she said.

The post also indicated that the situation was not, in her account, an isolated incident.

“And before anyone starts acting shocked or pretending this is some one-time mistake—this is not the first time I have been hurt by this situation,” she wrote.

She said she had previously remained silent to protect her family while people online formed their own versions of events.

“I stayed quiet for a long time because I chose to protect my family. But silence should never be mistaken for ignorance, weakness, or permission to keep disrespecting me and my children,” she said.

The athlete’s wife also urged social media users to consider the families affected before turning private disputes into online content.

“So before idolizing someone, remember that celebrities and athletes are still human beings who make choices—and those choices affect real families, not just their social-media image,” she wrote.

She added: “There are two children involved in this situation. Think about that before turning someone else’s family into your social-media content.”

She ended the post with a message in Tagalog directed at the person involved, writing:

“Hindi ito dala ng galit, dahil sobra na ang betrayal
Your giving me a life that anyone could ever dream pero ito ang kapalit ng lahat ng pagod, saripisyo ko at dinanas ko sa pamilya mo.”

Quiambao is currently in South Korea and is under contract with Korean Basketball League’s Goyang Sono Skygunners. (By the Staff)
