Kiefer Ravena out for NLEX in PBA restart
Kiefer Ravena is not part of the NLEX Road Warriors crew that will compete in the resumption of 2021 PBA Philippine Cup next month in Bacolor, Pampanga.
According to Road Warriors official Ronald Dulatre, Ravena flew to Japan on Wednesday morning to process his papers for his stint with Shiga Lakestars in Japan B.League.
“He will fly to Japan to process his visa, immigration and other B. League requirements since the Japan government set a deadline for all imports entry for the B.League” Dulatre said in a statement on Wednesday.
Dulatre added that there is still possibility for Ravena to rejoin the Road Warriors in the All-Filipino conference if he quickly finishes his requirements in Japan.
“After completing all requirements, he will comeback here to play the remaining games of NLEX but there is no definite date owing to the quarantine protocols.
The absence of the 27-year-old Ilonggo guard in the conference resumption is a huge blow for the Road Warriors, which is currently at the middle of the standings with 2-2 win-loss record.
Ravena was the second leading scorer for the Road Warriors after four games with 15.75 points, 3.75 rebounds, 6.50 assists, 1.75 steals and 0.50 blocks in 29.65 minutes of action averages.
