The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers’ victory over the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the Premier Volleyball League Invitational on Tuesday, with a score of 21-25, 25-17, 17-25, 25-21, and 18-16, was the result of a collective team effort involving both players and coaches.
Kim Kianna Dy acknowledged that in addition to the players’ efforts on the court, the coaching staff played a role in the team’s victory by addressing some of the referee’s errors through strategic challenges.
“We’re thankful for the coaches, kasi kung hindi sila nag-coaches challenge di ba?” said Dy, who tallied 24 points in the win. “It was really a team effort.”
Cargo Movers head coach Regine Diego mentioned that each member of her coaching staff has specific responsibilities, including monitoring the referees’ decisions to ensure accuracy.
“Our coaching staff actually has responsibilities, and they have their own jobs inside the court. I’m coaching… well, maybe I’m just the person standing up, but we were working on it,” Diego said.
“We talked about it; lahat halos ng rotation pinag-uusapan namin ng coaching staff, so it was really a teamwork thing, kaya kudos to my coaching staff; you guys are the best,” she added.
With an impressive 3-0 win-loss record, the Cargo Movers are determined to extend their winning streak as they face the Petro Gazz Angels on Thursday night.
