Snow Badua has emphasized the importance of acknowledging and recognizing Kiefer and Thirdy Ravena’s unwavering dedication to Gilas Pilipinas.
In a plea to Gilas fans, the journalist from Spin.ph urged them to refrain from criticizing the Ravena brothers due to their inclusion in the national team.
“Sabihin na natin na baldog ‘yung tira nila. Sabihin na natin na puro sila dribble. Kaso ‘yung commitment nila laging nandiyan eh,” Badua said.
“When everybody else is unavailable, andiyan po sila,” he added.
Kiefer and Thirdy are part of the 21-man Gilas pool for the 2023 FIBA World Cup. They also joined the Philippine squad’s trip to Europe, where they had tune-up games against the national teams of Estonia and Finland.
“Ibalato na lang po natin doon sa commitment na ibinibigay sa pagmamahal sa paglalaro sa bansa ng mga Ravenas ‘yun pong huwag natin silang i-bash,” Badua said.
“‘Yung mga Ravenas kilala ko ‘yan. Kesehodang ma-line up sila o hindi, basta they add muscle to our national team, handa po silang sumagot sa tawag ng atin pong bandila,” he added. (Mark Patriarca)
