Lakers coach Luke Walton believes trade rumors affect his team differently
With almost half of their team at stake of getting traded and with the deadline closing in, Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton says that trade rumors are affecting each individual members of his team differently.
ClutchPoints’ Ryan Ward tweeted Walton’s reaction towards this, “It affects everyone differently. There’s just no way to answer that question. I’ve seen and been part of team where people can’t play because of it & I’ve been on team where no body cares. You go out & do your job anyway, so there’s no specific answer to that. It’s different for everybody,” told Walton.
Though reports say that Pelicans were not interested in trading Anthony Davis, this didn’t stop the tension. The Lakers are having a difficult time getting into the playoffs with their current roster, which might be the other reason they will change their lineup by excluding some of their players.
Adding Lebron James into the Lakers clearly means they want a championship. At this point, they’re going to do what they have to do get that crown, even if it means losing some of their players. Until the trade deadline is done, no one is safe from being sent to other teams. (Janiel Abby Toralba)
