LBJ and JR Smith reunite in LA
JR Smith has the chance to contribute to a championship team, as he is about to reunite with former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate LeBron James in Los Angeles.
According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Smith is close to sign with the Lakers in the upcoming NBA return in Orlando.
Free agent guard J.R. Smith and the Lakers are working through final steps of a deal today and he will be added to roster for the Orlando restart, sources tell ESPN.

Smith, currently a free agent, last played for thr 2018-19 Cavs where he infamously cost the team’s chance to win the Game 1 of the Finals against Golden State Warriors.
The Lakers will now acquire the services of Smith after Avery Bradley opted out of Orlando to be with his family this COVID-19 pandemic.
