LeBron James was impressed with Austin Reaves’ performance in Team USA’s tune-up game against Puerto Rico on Tuesday.
Reaves came off the bench and poured all of his nine points in the first half, which delighted his Lakers teammate, James.
“A-R you so COLD man!!!” James said on his social media post.
Reaves added four rebounds and four assists as Team USA leaned on a red-hot second half to demolish Puerto Rico, 117-74.
Anthony Edwards and Cam Johnson led the scoring parade for the Americans with 15 points apiece, while Tyrese Haliburton put on a playmaking show with his 12 dimes.
Team USA is set to play four more tune-up games before they go to the Philippines for the FIBA World Cup. (MJD)
