LOOK: BDL, Lavitoria and Gaston graduate TOGAther

Bea De Leon, Jamie Lavitoria and Therese Gaston took home their diplomas in between studying, training, and winning games – and we thought we are busy.

Leaving the place you’ve called home for years is equal parts exciting, bittersweet, and a little scary.

But still, you have to accept their farewells and start a new chapter by seeing the Ateneo Lady Eagle seniors in their graduation finery:

One of the great minds that taught me said that, to be truly Christian would never be about how much we prayed or how well we memorise the laws, the responses or even the Bible. Instead, to be truly Christian meant “thy kingdom come”. It was never us reaching for the heavens but us giving the best of our abilities to make our world, a heaven to all. 💙 This has been the best choice I’ve ever made. Thank you, Ateneo for showing me the world. The hardest part about being a student-athlete has never been the losses we endured but that it required the best of us everyday. Thank you, Ateneo for showing me that that is possible. That sacrificing our principles is never an option. Most of all, thank you for teaching me to love greater everyday. It’s been the best. 💙
