Alas has been ruled out of the season after going down with another ACL tear on the same right knee he injured last season.

The 27-year-old guard hurt his knee during the team’s 87-83 win over the Meralco Bolts in last week’s PBA Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Before suffering a second torn ACL, Alas spent the better part of 2018 trying to recover from the initial injury.

Alas is set to undergo surgery on Saturday.
