Love to return in 2-3 weeks
Cleveland Cavaliers’ forward Kevin Love could return within 2-3 weeks time, according to Plain Dealer.
Love was a steady part of Cleveland’s offense and defense, before fracturing his fifth metacarpal that saw the Cleveland Cavaliers slid to no.4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Love is averaging 17.9 points and 9.4 rebounds per game this season. Lebron James needs Love to provide veteran presence after Cleveland’s lineup changed significantly.
Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder, Dwyane Wade and Iman Shumpert were shipped to different teams this season, with the Cavaliers getting Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr. and George Hill in return.
Love, together with James and Kyrie Irving, led Cleveland in the last three NBA Finals.
