Magharap Pa Tayo! McGregor calls out Khabib’s ‘disrespectful’ comments on Twitter
The rivalry between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor is obviously far from over.
The Irishman was left irate from “The Eagle’s” comment on Twitter after he was defeated by Dustin Poirier in second round of UFC 257 main event.
Khabib was candid on his thoughts regarding McGregor’s brutal loss against Poirier.
“This is what happened, when you change your team, leave the sparring partners who made you a champion and sparring with little kids, far away from reality,” Khabib tweeted.
McGregor was made aware of Khabib’s comments during the post-fight press conference and immediately challenged the retired Russian MMA artist to a rematch.
“If he wants to have his disrespectful comments, come back and let’s go again, my man. I’m here for it. That’s fighting talk. If you’re coming back, come back. You try and do it,” he said.
The rival’s bad blood could be traced back in 2018 where Khabib choked our McGregor in four rounds for the UFC Lightweight Title.
