MAGNOLIA Chicken Timplados Hotshots team consultant Erick Arejola was reportedly stopped by authorities on Thursday night after driving an unregistered Toyota Corolla in Biñan City, Laguna.
According to a report by Bilyonaryo News Channel, Arejola was allegedly approached at a Caltex station in Mamplasan, where car enthusiasts had gathered for an informal meet along the South Luzon Expressway.
A BNC source said authorities checked the registration status of Arejola’s blue Toyota Corolla after noticing an issue with the vehicle’s documents.
The car, a model known among local enthusiasts as “Lovelife,” was reportedly found to have no active registration.
It remained unclear what prompted the inspection, whether Arejola was taken in for questioning, or whether the vehicle was registered under his name or belonged to someone else.
According to the report, Arejola had driven the Corolla to the gathering before authorities allegedly impounded it as part of the procedure for handling unregistered vehicles.
Gasoline stations along SLEX have reportedly become regular meeting points for car enthusiasts holding informal gatherings in the area.
No official statement from Arejola or the Magnolia Hotshots was cited in the report. (By the Staff)
