The Magnolia Hotshots exacted huge revenge on rivals Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 106-77, to push their 2019 PBA Philippine Cup best-of-three quarterfinal series to a winner-take-all, on Monday evening at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Hotshots started off hot with an 11-0 run and they never look back since then.

They would go on to widen their lead to as many as 31 points a handful of times in the final period.

Ian Sangalang led Magnolia with 21 points and 9 rebounds while Robbie Herndon produced 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting along with 5 blocks.

Jio Jalalon and Mark Barroca had 17 points and 13 points, respectively.

Sol Mercado was the lone double-digit scorer for Ginebra with 11 points.

Greg Slaughter, who was in his element back in Game One as he made 15 points and 12 rebounds, was nowhere near that form as he only had five points and two rebounds.

Japeth Aguilar also got limited to only five points.

Game Three will be on Wednesday, April 10, still at the Big Dome.
