Giota Kalogirou, a step daughter of longtime Ateneo de Manila University basketball coach Tab Baldwin, publicly called on alleged victims of her father to come forward, while amplifying social media posts containing accusations about his past interactions with young women.

In a post on X on Sunday, Kalogirou said she was seeking a way for other alleged victims to safely share their experiences.

“I’m trying to find a way for other victims of #TabBaldwin and Ateneo’s cover up to come forward safely,” Kalogirou wrote.

She said her mother, Effie Baldwin, had remained silent for years because of fear.

“Please know that the reason my mom hadn’t spoken out until now was out of fear.”

Kalogirou also encouraged individuals with information to contact lawyer Tudor Clee privately.

The post came days after Effie Baldwin, Tab Baldwin’s estranged wife, released a video statement alleging that she had repeatedly warned Ateneo officials about the coach and questioned why he continued to be allowed around young athletes.

Aside from her own statement, Kalogirou reposted several social media posts from users who claimed to have received direct messages from Baldwin through Instagram.

One repost featured screenshots allegedly showing a conversation between Baldwin and an Ateneo freshman in 2021. The user claimed she became uncomfortable with the exchange and later asked a friend to follow the coach’s account as well.

Another repost highlighted a TikTok video containing screenshots of alleged messages sent by Baldwin to a young female follower. The post described the screenshots as resurfaced content that had originally circulated online in 2024.

By reposting the claims, Kalogirou appeared to lend support to individuals alleging inappropriate interactions with the veteran coach and encouraged others with similar experiences to speak out.

Neither Baldwin nor Ateneo de Manila University had issued a public response to Kalogirou’s latest posts or the allegations being shared online.

The social media controversy unfolded amid ongoing investigations into the deaths of Ateneo players Divine Adili and Rene Clert Baterbonia during a team-building activity in Dipaculao, Aurora. (By the Staff)
