Nearly a year since he went down from an ACL injury, Marc Pingris’ comeback remains uncertain as the Magnolia veteran continues his road to full recovery.

Hotshots coach Chito Victolero said he’s not aware of when the 37-year-old Pingris would be available for the Hotshots, who are currently struggling to regain their form and has been relegated deep in the PBA Philippine Cup standings.

“Si Ping wala pa kaming balita. And I don’t know kung kailan siya makakabalik,” Victolero said.

Pingris suffered the injury during the semifinals of the All-Filipino conference last year and missed the rest of the season, including the Hotshots’ successful title bid in the season-ending Governors Cup.

The Hotshots is currently carrying a lethargic 1-4 slate.

Magnolia will be needing any help it could get as it will have its hands full in the coming three weeks prior to the All-Star festivities.

They will face Alaska on Saturday, followed by Columbian Dyip, Barangay Ginebra, NorthPort, Blackwater, and NLEX.
