Miami-Dade County declares Feb 22 as ‘D-Wade Day’
February 22 is now a “Dwyane Wade” day in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
This official announcement was made during the halftime show between the Heat and Cavaliers matchup, in which the Miami franchise retired the No. 3 jersey to honor Wade.
Also, the Miami mayor Francis Suarez gave the city keys to D-Wade during the ceremony.

During Wade’s tenure with the Heat, he brought three titles to the team and also won Finals MVP in his first championship.
