Michele Gumabao Did Not Mind Social Distancing to Visit Elders

While Luzon and other parts of the Philippines are under the enhanced community quarantine, Michele Gumabao went out to help the vulnerable.

On Instagram, the 2020 Miss Universe Philippines candidate opted to spread love, not virus in her recent visit to Luwalhati Ng Maynila Home for the Aged. Gumabao personally handed out food packs to the elders as seen on her video and captioned it with:

“Had the chance to visit Luwalhati ng Maynila together with ms @cathyvalencia @alyssamuhlach and @cathyvalenciaskinclinic my prayer back then was for them to always have good health! With everything happening now and how the elderly are more vulnerable, I hope these prayers are answered 🙏🏻 since my biological lolos and lolas are now in heaven, this visit really warmed my heart ❤️”

Earlier, Gumabao, along with her boyfriend, Al Panlilio, also donated to Quezon City, days before sending help to the senior citizens. According to DOH, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in QC is now at 476.

When @aldopanlilio12 and I went to QC hall, I saw truck loads of rice, boxes of food and other relief goods about to be distributed and I looked at our donations and I couldn’t help but feel like our donation won’t make a difference. BUT I was wrong. We made 400 frontliners happy and full yesterday! Thank you @meals2goph for cooking! Thank you Ms Tetta Tirona and the rest of the Office of Mayor Joy Belmonte for helping us distribute the masks and beddings. These donations were from the good hearts of my friends, family and people who I’ve never met but also gave for QC! If you feel like your donation is too small, if you feel like you can’t make a difference! Think again! You can help from home! Message me or email me if you want to share your blessings as well. We will be sending another batch next week! PLEASE REMEMBER: STAY AT HOME SO OUR FRONTLINERS CAN COME HOME ❤️ 📸 @jorelvalmores
