Michelle Gumabao: I have always set my eyes on politics

Creamline Cool Smashers volleybelle Michelle Gumabao admitted that she was eyeing to throw her hat into politics long time ago.

According to the former De La Salle University Lady Spikers star, she was actually eyeing for a local post until the offer from Mothers for Change or MOCHA party-list came.

“I have always had set my eyes on politics mainly because I’ve always had my advocacy for the youth,” Gumabao said in an interview with CNN Philippines’ Sports Desk on Monday.

“I know that I have something more to give in order to serve my country better, and that’s always been my dream, to serve,” she added.

If ever she will be elected as a second nominee to the party-list established by Mocha Uson, Gumabao vowed to do her task well.

“I am coming into this with a heart to learn, and with a fresh and unique perspective,” Gumabao said.

“If we want to make a change in the country, we have to do it together,” she further said.
