Mighty coach Charles Tiu dwells on non-inclusion of Kobe Paras
What if Kobe Paras was indeed included in the Mighty Sports Pilipinas?
However, that is not the case anymore, but that doesn’t mean that Mighty head coach Charles Tiu didn’t consider the UP star in the lineup.
Would have loved to. But it’s too late

“Yes I would have like him. But at his position i already have 2 imports and 3 local wings,” Tiu said.
“If I got him and put him on the bench it wouldn’t do justice to him and I wouldn’t have wanted that,” he added.
Tiu has built a stacked roster that will compete for the 2020 Dubai International Basketball Championships.
He first hired reliable imports like Renaldo Balkman, McKenzie Moore, Jelan Kendrick, and even Gilas holdover Andray Blatche.
Most especially, the younger brother of Chris Tiu banked on young stars like Thirdy Ravena, Kai Sotto, Dave Ildefonso, Juan and Javi Gomez De Liaño, and Jamie Malonzo.
As for Paras, Tiu was not able to reach out to him for an invite.
“Kobe is a good player but I just stuck with guys that I’ve known or worked with and guys that I was sure would be allowed to play since I didn’t know what his plans were yet,” Tiu lamented.
“So unfortunately I didn’t actually get to reach out to him which is probably my fault.”
Still, Mighty Sports remains to be a formidable team with the talents that Tiu assembled.
