Former NBA star Lamar Odom, meanwhile, struggled in his Philippine debut, contributing just 4 points after missing 8 of his 10 shots. The two-time NBA champion, however, showed the other facets of his game with 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in 27 minutes.

For his part, Filipino-American Jeremiah Gray flashed his wares, finishing with 15 points along with 1 board and 1 assist in 13 efficient minutes as a starter.

Randolph Morris manned the middle for Mighty, tallying 14 points, 6 rebounds, and a game-high 4 assists.

Recently retired Jett Manuel was Mighty’s fourth player to score in double figures with 12 markers, built by 2 triples, along with 2 boards.

American University was the first to get to the scoreboard, but it was all Mighty from there as Philippine team posted a huge lead that ballooned to 35 points, 60-25, midway through the third quarter.###
