Justine Chua would rather not dwell on the fact that he was not chosen as the 2020 PBA Most Improved Player award.

The Phoenix big man only had few words to say about the controversial loss after he was edged out by eventual MIP Prince Caperal of Ginebra in the PBA Awards Night on Sunday.

“No comment ako,” he said during his training with Gilas Pilipinas in Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba.

Caperal got a total of 2,447 overall votes Chua’s 2,096.

Chua averaged 11.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and a league-leading 1.6 blocks in the Philippine Cup bubble in Clark, Pampanga while Caperal averaged 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds while filling the gap that Greg Slaughter left in the center position.

However, the 31-year old would rather move on from the season since he has Gilas Pilipinas campaign at his disposal.

“Move on na lang,” he said.
