The Iloilo United Royals shored up their frontline with the acquisition of former Gilas Pilipinas center Alfonzo Gotladera.
The 6-foot-5 Gotladera was picked up by the United Royals after he was released by the Valenzuela Classics VACARGO.
Gotladera was previously selected by the NLEX Road Warriors during the 2016 PBA Gilas Special Draft and spent two seasons with the squad.
The 32-year-old Gotladera then played for the Bataan Risers and Pasig Sta. Lucia Realtors in the MPBL before returning to the PBA via the San Miguel Beermen in 2021.
The former De La Salle University Green Archers/Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles center will be available for Iloilo’s game against the Quezon Huskers today.
