A statue inspired by Filipina tennis player Alexandra Eala has attracted attention online after being spotted in Naic, Cavite.
The figure is dressed in tennis attire and wears a cap, while its shirt carries logos associated with some of Eala’s sponsors, including Globe, and BPI.
The unusual tribute prompted various reactions from Filipino sports fans online, with the statue drawing attention as Eala continues to gain recognition following her performances on the international tennis circuit.
Eala herself was also reported to have noticed the viral post and left a reaction in the comments section.
