MVP smelling moves to keep Jones away from playing?

TNT Big boss Manny Pangilinan couldn’t hide his displeasure with the series of incidents involving KaTropa’s temperament import Terrence Jones, even surmising that there could be some ploy to keep the prolific import from playing in the ongoing PBA Finals.

The PBA Commissioner’s office slapped Jones with a P20,000 fine and flagrant penalty 2 on his headbutt to San Miguel’s Chris Ross during the heated PBA Game 3 of the Finals.

In a tweet, Pangilinan said: “Query: are there attempts to take Terrence Jones out from playing?”

The tweet, however, did not sit well with netizens who lambasted the businessman over PLDT’s poor services.

“Are there attempts to fix PLDT’s poor internet connection?” a netizen asked Pangilinan.

“Follow up ko lang ticket number 30799669. magdadalawang linggo nayan. ang bagal ng serbisyo nyo,” another one said.

TNT is currently up 2-1 in the best of 7 series.

San Miguel will look to tie the series up in Game 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
