Nambatac sets sights on PBA but he’s not yet done with Knights’ Finals quest


Rey Nambatac has applied for the blockbuster 2017 PBA Draft, but he still has unfinished business with the Letran Knights.

After outlasting Arellano Chiefs, 70-68, Nambatac and the rest of the Knights live for another day as they are bound to face San Sebastian Golden Stags on Tuesday.

“All out, big heart,” is what the 23-year-old native from Cagayan de Oro who wears his heart on his sleeves while he leads his squad to their 18th title.

True enough, Nambatac was all-out against Arellano tallying 25 points and 9 rebounds, balling like it’s his last game of his checkered college career.

Nambatac might be one of the top prospects of this year’s PBA Draft if he continues this type of performance for the Knights.
