Nangungurot! Amer blasts ‘bully’ Pogoy
A skirmish took place in the opening salvo of Game 2 of the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup semifinal clash between sister teams TNT and Meralco on Tuesday evening. At the center of it was KaTropa gunner Roger Pogoy and Bolts assistant coach Chris Tan who were both called with technical fouls for a verbal altercation.
That commotion happened after Pogoy and Baser Amer bumped into each other.
Amer accused the former Far Eastern University standout of pinching him since Game 1 of their semifinal series.
“Ang daming kurot. Sa tiyan ko, sa legs ko. Last game ang dami … As in may mga pasa ako.
“Nakakabastos kasi wala naman akong ginagawa or kaming ginagagawa sa kanila pero andun ‘yung pambu-bully.”
Amer finished with 20 points, helping Meralco tie the series at 1-1, 114-94.
Pogoy, on the other hand, finished without a single point in the 32 minutes he saw action.
