NBA veterans react on Michael Porter Jr’s tweet
Denver Nuggets rookie Michael Porter Jr. is on a hot seat right now with his controversial tweet regarding the case of George Floyd.
Numerous NBA stars took their stand against the death of Floyd by the hands of Minnesota cops, but Porter took a different route and asked to pray for the police involved instead.
As much as you pray for George family, gotta also pray for the police officer(s) who were involved in this evil. As hard as it is, pray for them instead of hate them…Pray that God changes their hearts.

This did not sit well to most netizens, including NBA veterans like New York Knicks forward Moe Harkless, Philadelpha 76ers sharpshooter Mike Scott, Los Angeles Clippers sixth man star Lou Williams.

Porter may have his own beliefs in Christianity, but most people looked at his tweet as ill-advised and insensitive.
